So summer is on its way....
As many of you might know I have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) I am on medication to help me cope and pay attention. Well this particualar medication before it became a medication for ADD it was a diet pill. which makes total sence because you would not be able to live a sedentary lifestyle because you would stay awake and be constantly on the go. It is almost like caffine but better and it doesn't make you crash when it is gone.
SOOO.... anyway because of insurance problems that we have been having I have not had my medication for 2 WEEKS!!! YOu will not believe the withdrawls that come from it. Sometimes you feel like you are going to die! But one of the awesome symptoms is that you want to eat the entire contents of the food that is in your house. The munchies are so bad.... so therefore I have put on about 5 lbs in 2 1/2 weeks because I have no self controll.
I had already known that I was not as healthy as I could be and according to my BMI I am boarderline overweight for my hight and weight (not that I need a number to tell me if I am healthy or not). well when I started college about 4 years ago I was the perfect weight for my hight but that was like 25 lbs ago.
SO this summer My summer goal is not just to lose weight but to feel healthy and be healthy.
Day 1: I did really good today I hid all sweets from view and thought to myself out of sight out of mind. right? WELL IT WORKED!
I didn't eat any sweets. and I even didn't eat any at work and then I went and bought myself a vanilla G-milk to celebrate and I only drank half of it. what a healthy choice.
we also when walking this morning. we walked 1 1/2 miles and ran a quarter of a mile it felt awesome.
